Josh Stuff

I was born in the Colorful Colorado and lived there to the age of 10. Then I moved to the blessed state of South Dakota! Living in the Black Hills of Dakota was a great place for a kid who loved the outdoors. I spent much of my life camping, biking, rock climbing, boating, skiing, and just enjoying God’s great earth.
My family has all been tried and true South Dakotans for many generations, so I grew up around many loving family members, whom I spent time with often. During high school I was a member of the wrestling team, and snow skied a lot too. I also worked all through high school and during the summers in a few different jobs from a boat store mini-mechanic to a shelf stocker at a local pharmacy store. In my last year of high school a friend and I became involved in a local volunteer fire department, which sparked an interest in fire fighting. After graduating from high school I worked for the United States Forest Service as a wildland firefighter, which I loved. I started school at Casper College and graduated with a Fire Science degree. Shortly after that I moved to California to continue my firefighting career, taking a permanent position. But it was only one to two years later I found that I desired to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
So after 5 years of fighting fire, I hung my hat and moved to London, England to serve an ecclesiastical mission. I spent 2 years moving to different areas of England, teaching, serving, and learning about so many different cultures. It was one of the most prized experiences of my life.
Upon returning state side, I moved to Utah to attend school at Utah State University, where I met my future wife. Julie and I clicked immediately, dated for a short while and married. And the last few years of marriage to Julie have been the pinnacle of my life. We have so much fun together and I love to spend time with her. We have enjoyed many trips together and share experiences that I hold very dear to my heart. I just love her to bits!
I graduated from Utah State with a Bachelors degree in Business Human Resources, and work full-time as a Human Resources Practitioner at a financial company and enjoy it very much. I have developed hobbies in cycling and home improvements and I still love the outdoors. I am news junky especially in business and world economics. I am involved with my church and have responsibilities as the assistant scout master, and Sunday school teacher.
I love life and want to provide the absolute best for my family, which is my number one priority. I am excited to become a father, and strive to be the example they can look up to. Thanks for taking time to get to know me.
